As someone who is now care taking my own mother (with moderately advanced Alzheimer's, who is also legally blind and diabetic) I can tell you that the monies that have gone towards discovering how the genetics are layed down(and then present in later life) is a fascinating one. Rushing back up to Douglas, Alaska to care for her after she went into a coma with blood sugar at a critical number of 22, and to also help my almost 92 year old father (who has Shingles) has been my own way of creating the fabric of <A HREF="http://with-heart-and-hands.blogspot.com/2008/10/love-and-hope.html" REL="nofollow">Love and Hope</A> as my quilt top lays waiting on the cutting board in Salem.
